How do I determine what size bandana to order?
Our hand made DogDanas come in 5 sizes to comfortably fit a chihuahua to a great dane. Our DogDanas are tied, not held together with velcro, giving your dog a more comfortable fit while providing maximum flexibility. In order to determine which size best fits your dog, use the following guidelines.
- Measure loosely around your dogs neck or measure the size of your dog’s collar. If using your dog’s collar, only measure the area that fits around his/her neck, not the entire length of the collar as there is usually overlap.
- Add 6 – 8 inches to that amount to get the total size DogDana required.
- Use the chart below to determine the correct size.
- Keep in mind that our DogDanas tie so they can be flexible in length. If the DogDana seems a bit too big, folding it down at the top can help to adjust the fit and shows off the reversible side.
- If the measurements are in the middle of two sizes, or you’re just not to sure which size to choose, choose the larger size.
Small: 14-16 inches
Medium: 18-20 inches
Large: 22-24 inches
X-Large: 28-30 inches
What if I have a really large dog and an X-Large is too small?
We do take custom orders. Measure the size of your dog’s neck where the bandana will be tied, making sure to measure loosely. Add 6 inches to that measurement. Contact us and give us the fabric you want and the measurement and we’ll check our inventory to see if we can fill your order.
What is the difference between a DogDana and a BagDana?
The Dog BagDana is the newest addition to our Dog Bandana/DogDana product line that truly takes the DogDana to the next level.
Our Dog BagDana is a DogDana that cleverly conceals a dog poop bag, while also providing easy access should the need arise. Always be prepared, have a poop bag within reach. In addition, our Dog BagDana has room to store excess bags just in case the need arises. We’ve all been there. All our Dog BagDanas come with a bag already placed in the BagDana and one refill roll.
I’ve received my product and it doesn’t fit?
All our bandanas are eligible for return or exchange within 30 days. If you would like to exchange a bandana, contact us and let us know. We will ship out a replacement bandana and ask you to send us the one you originally ordered. For additional information see our Return Policy.
What is the return policy?
If you receive an item you’re dissatisfied with, you may return it within 30 days to The Dog Bandana Store for a refund or exchange. Please notify us if you desire a refund or exchange.
Products must be in like-new condition in order to receive a refund or exchange. Shipping fees on returns will be the responsibility of the buyer. Typically we do not charge to re-ship products that are exchanged. The buyer will be responsible for any increase in cost of the new product, or be eligible for a refund of the difference if the cost is less.
Custom orders are not eligible for return or exchange according to our return and exchange policy. If you receive a custom order that doesn’t work for you, please contact us and we’ll do our best to make it right.
How are your products shipped?
We ship our products through the USPS. Products sold through our partners will ship according to their preferred shipping method.
Do you ship outside of the US?
We ship our products to the US and Canada. If you wish to purchase our products and are outside the US or Canada, please contact us.
What is the normal shipping time to the US and Canada?
Products ship within 2 business days of receipt and processing of the order. Products ship from Reno, Nevada..Most products are received within 7 – 10 days. Please allow for additional processing and shipping times during the holidays, Dec 15 – Jan 1. Shipments to Canada can take longer.
Can I track my shipment?
All orders are shipped via USPS and include tracking. After your product ships you will receive a confirmation of shipment with a tracking number.
